All of you should know that god has no gender, and the word He does not mean that God is a male. We humans have Male and female forms unlike God, because we are creatures that neeed to reproduce, but God is very far from all imperfections like the need to have children. That is why we musilms use the word "Allah" to revere to the one and only God, because this word has no gender and can't be made in to a plural form in the arabic language. For exqmple if I say the word goat the first think that comes in to your mind is a female animal that we domisticate, but there are male goat aren there? So why is the word goat use do revere to them too? Simple ansewer, we are humans and this shows how low we are in thinking. Anways, may point is the word Allah has no gender, so use that word to rever to god if you understand. NOTE. The word "He" is allowed but do not think of it as a male.

God was invented by males. Men want power and God is a weapon for cowards.

Because in the ancient times there was "man hegemonia" and the man was a symbol of power, intelligence, wisdom and wealth. Therefore people started referring any higher (supreme) being as HE. After that in (almos) every ancient civilization God has been referred, scriptured and sculptured as HE.

Nowadays its just a tradition (a habit) that is hard to change. But there are communities which insist to refer God as SHE or IT.

But calling God IT could be disrespectful in some mind sets.

Since we are all made in "his" image I like to think of "him" as a  spiritual being possessing both masculine and femmine characteristics. Same as us.

I am guessing you are a christian?
I was raised christian, however, as an adult I have come to realize that the written word of the bible and churches or religions do use God as a weapon. I choose to believe in a supreme omnipotent power, but not for political or financial gain or at the expense of someones right to believe as they choose. I call myself by no religion. No judgement on others. I am no ones judge. Just another one of Gods many children.

God is, by nature, Male. "THE FATHER, THE SON, and the holy ghost." Father and Son are indicating that God is male. Whether there are female God(s), or a mother of the Christian God, is up for interpretation, but the Bible (and other religious texts) refer only to god being male. It has been this way as far as recorded history goes back.
