I remember when the 9/11 attacks happened. I lived in a small, ethnically challenged farming town. I was no older than 10. My father, who is a close minded christian, always said it was the muslims who did it. Even though I know the major points, like why-ish. I am still left with some questions. Like who exactly were El-kaide, and osama bin laden. And why did they hate americans THAT much?

REALLY?  OK then here goes! Osama bin Laden and his followers were/are extremist not to be confused with the majority of Muslims or the Islamic faith. Al-Qaeda in Arabic means "the base" it was/is a network of extremist organised by bin Laden. Their goal was supposedly to stop corruption from the western world (mainly America) from infiltrating their world as they saw it. This is making a very long political and historical story short. Check these sites or google on your own if you can. Islam is a religion of peace and most Muslims are very good and moral people. There are bad seeds in every nation and society. Good luck, I hope you are able to understand and not judge a whole 100% population from the bad choices and behaviors of 20% of those 100%.
