It is really right,By Principle;Non-Muslims are disallowed in the Holy cities of Madinah as well as Makkah . There are a lot people who raise doubts to this and for that reason aim to spread misconceptions . The following points will serve to fully understand the possible judgment behind such a restriction . Makkah is not a place of tourism, but a place of reverence and devotion. It is really a sacred site of pilgrimage of the religion of peace . A non-Muslim has no reverence for Makkah , therefore should not be there as a mere spectator. Mecca as well as Madinah are cities of great importance in Islamic traditions, centres of pilgrimage and prayer, sacred places where Muslims are free from the distractions of daily life .
