I know someone who claims to be able to tell if a woman is menstruating or if someone had sex? Can there be any truth in his claims?

I understand that I should not get into these matters and just focus on strengthen my belief in Allah and his Prophet. I just think that this is something supernatural and I want to know if such kind of ability a normal person can have or not , because then there can be people with some other abilities like being able to detect diseases without x-ray etc.
