Is there a particular reason related to the religion that all Muslim countries are less developed, less civilized and less modern than the rest of the world?

I look at Europe. I look at America and far east countries. The Muslim percentage in those countries are very low. However their living standarts are very high. Then i look at the muslim countries and i see the opposite.

Is there a specific reason related to religion for this fact?

First, Europe and America are in a deep recession and many people are suffering the same way they would suffer anywhere and are. The problem with Americans ( and I feel happy to speak freely on this as I am 100% American) and Europeans will manifest itself very soon as they continue to try to keep up with the Jones', if you will. They work all the time to struggle and pay for new and nice things while the family unit breaks down. Also do not forget America is only 236 years old, and these other countries, especially in Africa are as old as time itself. They are surrounded in a deep history of rich culture while we Americans are just trying to get rich, look rich, or are filthy rich and don't care about anyone else. Some nations play the game while others just try to live life and be happy, because at the end of the day we are none leaving this world with one red cent, or our nice modern homes and fancy cars.

However, to answer your main question, religion is not why third world countries can't pull themselves up...It's all about politics...world trade, international economical balance. Next time you vote (assuming that you do) for the leader of your nation ask yourself one question...are things really gonna change?

What goes up must come down, and what is on the bottom has nowhere left to go except up!
