All Muslims should like Ali because Ali is Muhammed`s cousin and son-in-law first and foremost.

Shia idea claims Ali is the successor of Muhammed and he should have been followed after Muhammed. But Sunnis are so against to this idea. So i can understand where the reaction is coming from but there shouldnt be any hate because they all are Muslims and Ali is Muhammeds family.

According to the Quoran Christianity is not a true religion because there are Christian sects. What does that say about Islam itself? You decide.
