Do you have to be a muslim to marry one?

I am a girl that is not a muslim, but in love with one. Do I have to be a muslim to marry him?

I'm only 15 but my parents have talked to me about this topic. You are allowed to marry him, but it will put both of you in a rough position because he is required to raise all of your children as Muslims. Also if you do not convert to Islam don't expect his parents to be very nice to you lol....Arabs. But seriously you should look into Islam. It will change your life in so Many ways for the better. No one is forcing you to become Muslim, just look into it and ask the man you love to teach you about it. Good luck.

No, you are a girl, you just have to be Christian or Jewish and chaste (abstaining from sex) and your children will have to be Muslim if you marry him. I strongly urge you to research Islam however and see what you can learn and how you feel about it.  It is a religion that covers every part of your life and it will become a part of your life if you marry him.

Yes, you have to convert to Islam and you should be loyal to it from your heart, not simply because you are in love. You should research about it and see if you change your mind.
