What are the punishment of lie in Islam

+1 vote
My sister lies constantly. Her trick to lie is that whenever she lies, she asks for forgiveness to Allah in her mind and keeps lying. Would you kindly describe Islam's view point on this situation .

This act of lying is firmly prohibited in Islam until or unless it is exactly for someone benefit or for a good. Truthfulness is righteous, as well as righteousness brings Paradise. People will continuously acknowledge the truth until he will be written by Allah as one who tells the truth. Lying is evildoing, and so evildoing leads to Hell.
