I was wondering if sunnis and shia get along living in a same country? or can they even live in a same country?
Do they have like their own neighbourhoods and part of town?

Traditionally No!
But they should get along. Because both sides are muslims and they belong to the same religion.

Majority of Shia are in Iran and are a small population when compared to sunni.
