Can you make a confession to an Imam or whoever in Islam? Will all you sins be forgiven by Allah if you make a confession?

You can always make a confession in Islam. But unlike the Catholics, Muslims dont need anybody (a Priest, a Pope, an Imam etc.) to deliver their message to God. They talk to him, ask him, beg him for forgiveness. They confess themself.

Its like praying to God for health, good life etc. You also pray for forgiveness for your sins or for a particular sin.

Yes. Its called Tovbe (Tevbe) and you do it to Allah. Not to an Imam (or any kind of Priest).

The previous answers are absolutely true, but I'd like to add that Islam strongly encourages reconciliation and forgiveness. For example, if someone gossips about another person it is obligatory on him/her not only to repent to God, but also to confess this to the offended and seek reconciliation, while that person is expected to forgive and let it go.
