Why Islamic countries dont like democracy?

Most islamic countries dont have democracy or they have it after fighting so many years for it. Why is it like that?

Because Islamic countries usually apply Sharia Law or typical Monarchy. Because Islam is very strict about traditions, Islamic countries are not very open to new government systems.

But more and more countries switch to democracy nowadays. I guess everybody is getting modernized.

Democracy is a part of human evolution,  People in the Muslim World are no different than those living in the western democracies.  People around the World have similar hopes and aspiration at basic human level.
