Can Muslims Marry 4 Wives?

Are Muslims really allowed to marry 4 wives (at once)? how and why is that even possible?

Well it says like this in Quran

"If you think you can treat them fair (justly) then you can marry one, two, three, four wives. But if you dont think you can treat them fair then you should only marry one or your (girl) slave

Muslims can marry as much as 4 women asa long as you can support their needs, and I think you need much money, so better marry one girl only.
