What if i convert from Islam to another religion?

Does islam consider me going straight to hell because i convert? or would Islam be understanding and respectful to my decision since they believe the G`d is the same G`d in every religion?

If you change your religion then you will be a different religion. Follow your heart because no matter what you call yourself God/Allah already knows whats in your heart. No person can tell you your destination in the afterlife because ultimately we have but ONE judge and that is Allah himself.

If you are changing religions, then why would you care about what the privious religion said. I converted to islam a few years back, and in my previous religion it said I was going to hell for this, because in my privious religion, there is no other way to accept god then through his son. But I agree with anonymous, just follow your heart.
