its about your intentions. When watching porn you are thinking about being with that other person, therefore it is cheating. You have a spouse for a reason!

Yes it is cheating. Mentally and emotionally it is cheating, and it is haram for you because you are filling your mind with a type of habit or addiction when you should be making hasana with your wife.
