The answer is indeed NO, according to Muslim Journals there are only about 15 percent of the estimated 1.2 billion Muslims worldwide are Arab.

No,  they are not a pure ethnic group, they are arabic speaking people who inhabit Arabia. while muslim is an adherent of Islam.
