What are the reasons for the animosity between Muslims and Christians?

For some reasons, they always fight as seen on TV and I also see it always that Muslims and Christians always fight. And i want to know Why.

I think It was started when some terrorists had threaten Christians especially in Philippines. Most of the Christians and Muslim there are very hostile to each other.
